Today is Global Hydropower Day💧! Shining a light on the power that can be harnessed with sustainable hydropower and celebrating the positive impacts of this clean energy resource on people and communities around the world 🌎.

Hydropower is the oldest form of renewable energy and has a key role to play alongside all forms of clean energy to push the world toward a net zero future♻. It is an ideal form of reliable dispatch-able energy generation and while traditionally associated with larger dams, hydropower, also known as waterpower, covers any scenario where falling or running water is used to produce electricity or to power machines machines⚡.

Here at GKinetic Energy Ltd we are working on making smaller scale distributed hydro power accessible to all. We are excited to launch our 1-3kW scale units in the coming weeks, and will be showing how these simple, modular floating turbines can be deployed in a matter of hours.
